The Woodrow Wilson Internaitonal Center for Scholars ("Wilson Center") consists of two separate, but parallel, pay systems (federal and trust). U.S. Civil Service positions are funded by our annual appropriation from the Congress. Trust positions are funded by private donations, grants and gifts to the Wilson Center.

The CFO will serve as the senior executive and technical expert on all aspects of financial management, including managing the organization’s financial resources, which include a combination of federal appropriations and other non-federal funding (trust-fund).

The incumbent will provide strategy and operational management of day-to-day email marketing campaign execution, including planning, targeting, set-up, testing, execution, reporting and optimization. The incumbent will manage and administer the Wilson Center’s CRM/email marketing system, Every Action, developing operational processes, providing technical support, training, and consultation to staff users on a variety of email, social, event, product and fundraising marketing campaigns.

The incumbent serves as the principal adviser to the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer on all information technology management to include security and IT infrastructures and requirements. The incumbent administers and defines the overall direction and objectives of the organization’s short-term and long-term IT strategic plans. The incumbent exercises supervisory authority to a team of IT professionals to include providing technical and administrative supervision.
