CCF Spring Offensives of 1951

The first CCF Spring Offensive was launched on April 22 and lasted until April 29. The offensive was the largest single battle of the Korean War. The CCF attacked with 250,000 men in 27 divisions. Defending against the offensive were five U.S. Army divisions (2nd, 3rd, 7th, 24th, 25th).

Second CCF Spring Offensive

The CCF Second Spring Offensive offensive of 1951 was launched on May 17 and lasted until May 22. Four U.S. divisions (U.S. Army's 2nd, 3rd and 25th Infantry Divisions, and the 1st Marine Division) participated in defending against the CCF offensive.
